Procedure for requesting transport covered by CAS Mureș.
The request must be made by the hospital to the 112 dispatch center – Order of the Minister of Internal Affairs – SECRETARY OF STATE DSU.
Requests transmitted in this way by the hospital to the Public Ambulance Service can also be directed to private ambulances. This way, the patient does not pay for the transport, as it is covered by CAS.
EMERGENCY HOME MEDICAL CONSULTATIONS COVERED BY CAS.
For green code emergency home medical consultations to be covered by CAS, they must be sent to us by the 112 medical dispatch center.
Patients must call the integrated 112 medical dispatch center to request a home consultation, and the dispatch center will allocate the resource.
CAS DOES NOT COVER requests that are not transmitted through 112.
Due to the fact that the 112 medical dispatch center did not allocate our available resource when it was available, we reported this to the Minister of Health. The response from the ministry, through the HEAD OF SERVICE, was that there is no provision in the legislation that obliges 112 to allocate private resources.
We hereby inform everyone that there is a legal provision in Annex 9 of Title IV of Law 95/2006 which states that priority 1 (P1) is the nearest crew.
Since there was a large number of requests to our ambulance service received directly on our dispatch number, we decided to offer patients the possibility of being consulted at home, for a fee, through a subscription.
