Rapid Disaster Response
Since 2016, we have been part of the Austrian International Rapid Disaster Response Team.
The training of crews on USAR modules for INSARAG accreditation began in February 2016.
Modules covered:
- Earthquake interventions – search and rescue of victims
- Flood interventions – search and rescue of victims
- Chemical, Biological, Nuclear disaster interventions – CBRN module – Use of equipment, Zone assessment, search and rescue of victims.
- Conflict zone interventions – Search and rescue of victims, shelter construction, water treatment.
- Multiple victim interventions – Triage, treatment, and evacuation of victims
