Patient Transport
Unassisted Medical Transport
Patient transport in Mureș by private A2 ambulance for non-urgent, inter-clinic transfers and scheduled discharges. Our trained crews ensure proper immobilization, monitoring, and safe handling from home to hospital or vice versa. Quick scheduling in Mureș, with options for transfers to/from Cluj and Bucharest.
Intended for patients with lower limb injuries, spinal injuries, and post-stroke hemiplegia. Our teams are trained in safe patient handling.
For patients with spinal or lower limb injuries requiring femoral neck prosthesis, immobilization devices for the spine and limbs are used. The patient is placed in a vacuum mattress, which is molded to the patient’s anatomical shape using a vacuum pump, ensuring patient stability during transport.
For hemiplegic patients, the vacuum mattress is kept on the stretcher, making it easier to mobilize the patient and transfer them from stretcher to bed.
- For patients hospitalized in Târgu Mureș, the request for discharge transport to home is made by the hospital to the national dispatcher 112. Requests received by public services will be redirected to our service, ensuring the transport costs are covered by CAS Mureș.
- For patients at home who require ambulance transport for specialist consultation and cannot travel by conventional means, the request is made by the patient or family to the national dispatcher 112, which will allocate our available resource to ensure transport reimbursed by CAS Mureș.
- Requests directed to our dispatcher at the phone number 0365 400 800 cannot be reimbursed by CAS, as Romanian legislation prohibits reimbursement for services not dispatched through the National Emergency Call System 112.
- In private cases, requests made directly to our dispatcher number are chargeable. The private tariff is the same as that reimbursed by CAS.
When requesting our services, the dispatcher operator will ask for information about the patient’s illness or condition, current state, age, exact address, and the requester’s name and phone number.
You will be informed about how the service will be executed, the time the crew will arrive, and the payment method.
All details about the required service will be arranged in advance over the phone.
