Non-Assisted Sanitary Transport

Our Non-Assisted Medical Transport Service is intended for those patients who are hemodynamically stable, able to communicate, and breathe spontaneously, and do not require monitoring during transport.

Private Medical Transport Services

Intended for patients with lower limb injuries, spine injuries, or post-stroke hemiplegia. Our teams are trained to handle patients safely.

  • For patients with spine or lower limb injuries requiring femoral neck prosthesis, immobilization devices for the spine and limbs are used. The patient is placed in a vacuum mattress, from which air is removed using a pump, causing the mattress to conform to the patient’s anatomical shape. Once reinforced by suction, the mattress prevents any change in the patient’s condition during transport.
  • For patients with hemiplegia, the vacuum mattress is kept on the stretcher, allowing for safer mobilization of the patient and easier transfer from the stretcher to the bed.

Non-Assisted Medical Transport: When Is It Recommended?

  1. For patients admitted to hospitals in Târgu Mureș, the request for transportation upon discharge to the home is made by the hospital to the national dispatcher 112. Requests handled by public services will be redirected to our service, and so the patient’s transportation is covered by Mureș Health Insurance (CAS).
  2. For patients at home who require ambulance transport for a specialist consultation and cannot travel by conventional means, the request is made by the patient or relatives to the national dispatcher 112, which will allocate our available resource to ensure the patient benefits from transportation covered by Mureș Health Insurance (CAS).
  3. Requests made directly to our dispatcher at the phone number 0365 400 800 cannot be covered by CAS, as Romanian legislation prohibits the reimbursement of services not transmitted through the National Emergency Call System 112.
  4. In a private regime, requests made directly to our dispatcher number are chargeable for this service. The rate charged in a private regime is the same as that reimbursed by CAS.
